I woke up with sunrise but slept a bit more until 7.30 when I decided this could be a day with nothing to write about and the park fountains operate from 6am to 8am each morning as I read in a leaflet so I got up and headed there. It was 7.37 and according to the map I was 19 minutes away so I jogged a bit and got there with 10 minutes to go. There was no colours but at least the fountains were on. I walked all the way around, took a few pictures and was bored before 8am so I went around a few other parts of the park and then went back. I took the wrong road again past paco park and got back close to 9 so I went to the launderette and picked up my big bag of laundry and went back to the apartment which was a little less busy with only 3 people there but of course that included the couple on the bed below me. I managed to have breakfast of tuna and some beans and sausages in a tomato type sauce which wasn't very nice. Then I showered and packed and left before 10 and headed with my suitcase to the internet place. I was looking for the cheesecake place I'd been to the day before but couldn't find it and there were lots of kids around again and the internet place was pretty full and I was told no by the woman on the desk. So I waited until someone left and asked again and she said there was no internet only games, maybe I'd used too much the day before. So I went to leave and she started cleaning the door window, great timing but I left and found an internet place just a few door down and stayed there until close to 12 when I got a google email reminder to get my boat between 4 and 5 uk time or 12 and 1 Philippines time. So I paid and left and headed towards the bridge where I picked up a jeepney across the bridge before walking through the shanty town area and taking wrong turnings a couple of times which was frustrating as my suitcase wasn't rolling so well. I arrived at the dock anf there were lots of security people not doing much but walking sure I walked the correct designated path and I had to pay 95 pesos passenger terminal fee. I got on the boat and was shown roughly where my bed was and it was in a big room with loads of bunk beds, like a 100 bed hostel on a ship and there was luggage and boxes around making it gard to get my suitcase through. I left my suitcase on the bed and went to look around and they had a lounge and a place selling food at about double normal price. The toilets were not so easy to find and there was just 4 men's toilets and showers for all the people on my deck. I went upstairs and economy bunks were mote open to the elements and didn't have the Ikea type wall that the beds on my floor had. The top deck had seats, a bar and I saw the people from the wanderers hostel, Sax the kiwi, the two English girls and one of theirs boyfriend who later introduced himself as Gary. We sat around in the sun and later played some cards. The ship meanwhile had been playing music but had a singing karaoke competition although I didn't see any actual judging or scores but one of the singers did a really good Whitney. It almost rsined but thankfully didn't and the guys all went below and I stayed on deck as the sun went down and the Spanish group on the table next to me including Maria the birthday girl got more and more drunk and did more stupid things. I sewed my trousers a bit and read a bit and wrote this waiting for dinner at 7pm. Gary came upstairs as a queue formed for dinner and I went and queued to be given a box with some fish rolls and a portion of rice. There was extra rice available for 15 pesos and barbecue chicken for 25. The others all queued up while I ate and then after they had eaten we went to see the restaurant where meals cost a couple of hundred pesos. We got bedsheets which I didn't know about and I had to leave my driving licence as deposit. Then we went back upstairs and sat outside for a few drinks. They were still playing the same music as earlier, Justin Bieber and a random raga-ton compilation. Gary, his gf and Sax went to bed early leaving just me and the girl from Weymouth called Deana. The boat brought out two singers to entertain us and they were ok but had some minor pronunciation problems, the guy did a song what does the fox say which was pretty loud and unusual. Deana had traveled from Thailand through Cambodia and Vietnam and was going to Australia on the one year working visa soon. I drunk a fair bit of my vodka and as she had to get off at Coron she went to bed at 10.30 and do did I soon after and discovered I had no pillow so I went to the sheet place which was unmanned so I took one, then I emptied the life jackets from a shelf in my bed so I could put my things there and went to sleep wearing a jumper as it was air conditioned.
