I woke up around normal time, packed up , had a shower and ate some of my food as breakfast. I thought about visiting somewhere and coming back but eventually decided not to and went to the supermarket to look for hand sanitiser which I wasn't sure if they had. I didn't buy much to make sure that I could get to the airport in case the bus wasn't the 1000 yen. I went back to the hostel and decided to just go so I headed out towards Tokyo station to get the bus. I had bookmarked a few places to see on the way but the first 2 were no good and after that I couldn't be bothered so I got to the station early and got an early bus maybe the 10.20 which actually got to the airport on schedule a bit past 11.20. I found the check in area for t-way but they were still checking people in for another flight and I would have to wait 20 minutes so instead I went to look at the view of the airport (not worth it) and the shops with all of my luggage. I had to be careful not to knock things over but I got round most of the shops before going to check in where I had to queue now which was annoying. After I asked at information for computers and there was only some in Starbucks but they charged 200 yen for 10 minutes so I decided to buy food things with my remaining 680 yen. I ended up with 4 sushi wraps, 2 sandwiches and a small 500ml orange juice. I'd spent way too long deciding and the flight was not so long away so I went to customs but they wouldn't let me through with the orange juice. I sat down and ate a bit and drunk the orange juice and then went through and headed to the gate. I arrived about on time but that gave me time to visit the toilet, get some water and not much time to charge my phone. I got on the plane and there were some seats free so I took another one by the window which was ok but I had a bit of the engine in the way for photos. The plane took off, went south then turned and went north but we were to the east and I didn't see much of Tokyo. I took a few photos before we got up into the clouds and I read a bit but it wasn't a long flight and we arrived around 4pm in Daegu. They made an announcement that it was not allowed to take photos of the airport as it was also used by the military. The airport was fairly small but it was ok and I picked up my backpack and went to check in for the next flight but again I was too early. I looked around the airport and it was quite small with 2 floors and 1 shop. I found a plug socket sat down, charged up my phones, did some research on paces to go with the airport wifi and read a bit. I looked outside and there was some kind of monument in front of the airport, but as I still had all my luggage I stayed in the airport. At 6pm I went down and joined a short queue that was about to grow and got my bag checked in. I had thought about going outside before but didn't want to carry my bag around, now it was later and darker and looked like rain and I went to have a look at the brochures at the information counter and the woman there fave me a map of the whole Country and showed a few places I might want to visit. I thanked her and she fave me a free souvenir of some small postcards and a kind of face mask thing. I didn't have that much food left and I do eat a lot so I went and bought a pot noodle from the shop which I paid for with some of the money I had left over from last time I was in Korea. I went back to a plug socket to eat it there and the pot noodle was really spicy so it took me a long time to finish, so then I decided to go through customs which at least did not take too long. The other side was pretty empty with just an overpriced shop and a toilet. The seats were ok and I still had food so I waited and boarded the plane which was pretty full so I stayed in my assigned window seat. I took a few photos as we took off but some blurred as it was dark and there were lots of lights. After that it was an uneventful 1 hour flight and I was in Jeju close to 9pm. I got my things and found a bus to the city and had to stand up and then walk a bit from the bus stop. There was a possible attraction on the way and some of the stone Jeju statues there. I walked past where the hostel was and wondered if this was going to be another time of searching but I had another look and found it and got checked in with a bottom bunk although it had no electric socket which was annoying. The hostel seemed ok so I checked up on some information for a bit but then decided to go out and went to the sea but it wasn't so great as it was just a sea wall. I found a supermarket on maps which was nearby and it tuned out to be a bulk buying costco type of place. They had big bunches of bananas, massive bags of things, barrels of other things but also some smaller items and I picked up a fish sausage and 2 packets of noodles. Some of the other people there had trolleys full of things but it wasn't too bad a queue. It was past 10pm but I think the place closed at 1am and only opened at 9 which seemed strange. I got back to the hostel and ate something and the man there showed me the fridge for guests so I left my food and went up to the room where there were 2 young Koreans on their phones in bed with the lights off. They turned the light on for me and I got organised and went to bed as it was gone 11.
